1. Steven Matz, LHP, Stony Brook, NY, Ward Melville HS- Matz really impressed at the Sunshine Northeast with plus arm speed, good command of an upper 80’s fastball and the potential for plus secondary pitches. He was selected for the National Showcase.

2. Justin VanGrouw, RHP, Oakland, NJ, Indian Hills HS- VanGrouw has very tall lean frame at 6’6 190lbs. Easy arm action that produce 90mph fastballs with little effort. He mixed four pitches and had good command. He has loads of projection and is one to watch. He was selected for the National Showcase.

3. Kyle McKenzie, RHP, Canton, MA, Thayer Academy- McKenzie has a fast arm that produces a fastball that reaches 90mph. His curveball has potential to be a sharp downer pitch. He was selected for the National Showcase.

4. Dominic Leone, RHP, Norwich, CT, Norwich Free Academy- Leone has good command of a 90mph. He has a fast arm and mixes in a good curveball and change. The ball comes out of his hand well. He was selected for the National Showcase

5. Steve Nyisztor, MIF, Toms Rivers, NJ, Toms Rivers North- Steve is a super athletic infielder with good actions and arm strength in the infield. He also throws 90mph from the outfield and shows hitting potential and tools. He can really run turning in a 6.63 time in the sixty. He was selected for the National Showcase.

6. Martin Kelly, OF, Pompton Plains, NJ, Pequannock Township- Kelly is a good outfield with arm strength and it plays making accurate throws to the bases. He also shows a quick short stroke at the plate with good bat speed and gap power. He was selected for the National Showcase.

7. Mark Stuckey, OF, Lititz, PA, Warwick HS- Stuckey is a very versatile player with great athletic ability. He can run(6.72), throw (90 from OF), makes plays in the infield, and shows good hitting tools. He was selected for the National Showcase.

8. Niko Gomez, C, Chicago, IL, St. Ignatius College Prep- Gomez really impressed with the bat in the games. He squares balls up and drives to all fields. He also had 2.00 pop time.

9. Tyler Donovan, C, Brewster, NY, Iona Prep HS- Donovan is a top of the line defensive catcher. He has very good catch and throw skills and excellent blocking technique. He also shows ability with the bat.

10. Adam Brown, LHP, Melville, NY, Half Hollow Hills East- Brown really knows how to pitch. His fastballs sits in the mid 80’s with plus command. He also has a good curveball and change he spots well.

  1. W. Keenan Kish, RHP/IF, Worcester, PA, Germantown Academy- Kish is an athletic 2010 with big arm strength. He threw 94 across the diamond in the workout. He is mid to upper 80’s on the mound and really projects to gain velocity over the next few years.

  1. Christian Pfaff, 3B/RHP, Rocky River, OH, St. Edward- Christian is a very interesting two way prospect. Shows big power and hit an opposite field homerun in the game. He only threw three pitches before the rain came but was already up to 88 with more to come. Top level 2010 follow

  1. Michael Bradshaw, RHP/OF, Crestwood, NY, Stepinac- Bradshaw is another good two way prospect. He was up to 86mph on the mound with a nice projectable build to add velocity. He also impressed at the plate showing good power potential and also through 91 from the outfield.

  1. Greg Brodzinski, C, Turnersville, NJ, Bishop Eustice- Brodzinski does everything well behind the plate and shows big power potential at the plate.

  1. Barrett O’Neill, SS/RHP, Ashland, MA, Ashland HS- O’Neill has big arm strength, both on the mound and infield. He shows very good hitting tools with power at the plate. 2010 two way prospect to follow.
