OVERVIEW: From a team that won a school-record 45 games a year ago, the Phoenix return senior DH Robert Rodebaugh (.340-11-60), senior 1B Chris Vasami (.322-14-57) and senior OF Ryan Addison (.286-8-40), along with sophomore RHP Steve Hensley (6-5, 5.29) and junior LHP Jesse Lewter (5-1, 3.43).

TOP PROSPECT/SOPHOMORE: Steve Hensley, rhp. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder, a Nationals draft pick in 2005, fanned 96 in 99 innings a year ago. He has the stuff, a four-pitch mix that includes a 90-94 mph fastball, to replace Matt Chastain (10-2, 2.81) as the team’s ace.
